Love is like a Rose

Love is much like a wild rose...
beautiful and calm...
but willing to draw blood...
in its defense...

Thee Rose

I’m sure that all of us have played games before.
And er... if you haven't.. then er... never mind...

When playing games, lots of things run through our mind.
We focus on the game, yet at some point, our thoughts tend to drift.

Have you ever noticed how, during a game, people get so competitive, and at times, we become very selfish due to this competitiveness?
Have you asked yourself what you’re going to do next in the game?
Have you ever gotten so self-absorbed into the game, that you start to do anything to win?

Have you ever wondered when the game will end?
Or why you even started playing in the first place?

In games, people tend to have a sense of competitiveness that overwrites all other emotions, feelings, or thoughts.
We tend to lose ourselves to the game.

But why are we really playing games then?

Is it because, we want to win?
Or that we want to prove something to others?

That you’re better than another person?
That you’re stronger, faster or smarter than the opponent?

Life is like a game.
We play it everyday.

At times, we want to do better than someone else.
In our studies.
Our Reputation.
Our Appearances.
Music.
Sports.
Or even just games.

But why are we really living life then?

What are we trying to win in life?
Or rather, why are we living life?

Life is kinda like a game.
And we’re all in it together.

But the thing is, it doesn’t really matter if we somehow win it or not.
But rather, if we play it fair.
If we make friends while playing it.
If we have great moments while playing it.

And most importantly, if we have fun while living it.
